Dressing for the Person You're Turning Into

Style is not self-expression. It is self-rehearsal.
Most style advice assumes you already know who you are and just need to communicate it. That has never matched our experience.
More often, the clothes come first. You put on something that belongs to a slightly different person, and for an afternoon you move like them. Then, eventually, you are them.
This is why we make so few pieces. A uniform removes the daily negotiation and leaves room for the harder work of becoming.
Build it from things that hold their shape. Let the rest go.
Still here. More to write.
